The purpose of Methodical Insanity is for me to share my thoughts on various issues that I consider to be important and worthy of critical analysis. Like most people, I once got all my information from the mainstream media and for a long time, I accepted it all as fact without really analysing what was being said. After all, why would our media lie to us (whether blatantly, or simply by omission)? We do live in a democratic and free society and I always assumed that propaganda was just something that dictatorships did.
However, I could never deny what my instincts were telling me, and they always told me that something just wasn’t right. I couldn’t figure out what exactly, but I always had an uncomfortable feeling that things weren’t exactly what they seemed. That there were definite agendas behind the information that we were presented, rather than simply a balanced presentation of the facts.
So I decided to take advantage of the internet, research things for myself and come to my own conclusions about things based on all the available information. I’m not saying that my interpretations about everything are undisputed fact (a lot of it is just my personal opinion), but I can at least say in all honesty that I’m willing to look at all angles fairly and actually think when judging things, rather than just accepting what I’m told without question.
I’m hoping to share my opinions and insights with others with the aim of getting them to also really think more about how things are, and to question the biased one sided narrative that we’re constantly fed by the media. I understand that not everybody will agree with what I have to say, so by all means, please feel free to comment if you wish to express a differing opinion, or perhaps offer new insights that I may have overlooked in my own writings. Discussion and alternative viewpoints are more than welcome.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your time here.
